Trip Information

At Spot Chaser Guide Service, our goal is to make your fishing trip as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. We provide all essential fishing equipment, including rods, reels, tackle, and life jackets, along with snacks like almonds, protein bars, and peanut butter crackers, plus bottled water. During winter, we offer hand warmers for extra comfort.

What to Bring

We suggest bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, a camera, cell phone, lunch, rain gear, and a jacket for added convenience.

Prohibited Items

For safety, items like alcohol, cigarettes, knives, and guns are not permitted on our trips.

Safety Requirements

Each participant must sign a liability waiver. For minors under 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign the waiver, and they must be accompanied by someone 21 or older.

Fishing License

Guests aged 16 and older must have a Georgia or South Carolina fishing license before starting the trip.

Cancellation Policy

Weather-related cancellations are determined by the captain 24 hours in advance. We do not cancel for rain, and if the trip is canceled, we’ll work with you to reschedule or refund. For guest-initiated cancellations, a 48-hour notice is required to avoid a $100 fee.

Conservation Policy

To protect Lake Hartwell, we practice catch-and-release on all trips.

Launch Location

We’ll call the night before your trip to confirm the launch point based on your location for a smooth start.

Family-Friendly

We welcome kids and offer trips for one to two people at a time.
